Now I get to spend my days playing in my new foster home. I have a lot of fun there, but I know it’s not the same as having a forever home- I sure would like one of those soon!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself and hopefully you’ll think I’m the perfect addition to your home. I’m ~10 months old, so I’m still a playful pup, but old enough to know some basic commands already. I weigh ~40 lbs. now, but I may reach up to ~55-60 lbs. when I’m finished growing- I still need to get some meat on my bones! These nice people even already made sure that I’m up to date on my vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative. While I am house and crate trained, I prefer to spend my down time relaxing on the couch at my foster parents’ house, so I hope you’re ready to snuggle up and watch some TV when you get home from a long day at work. There are other dogs that live with me and I’m not sure how I feel about them- I think I may prefer being the only dog in the home so I can have all of your attention to myself. I am working on learning how to share my toys- I’m not very keen on sharing right now because I’ve never had anything that’s mine before! I think I like these children that I live with better than the dogs- they’re nice and cuddly. I hear there’s these creatures called cats, but I don’t have any of those at my foster parents’ home- I’ve met a couple of them before and thought they were kind of weird, so I kept my distance. Here’s the sad part about my story- I have been diagnosed with hip dysplasia in both of my hips. The nice people here at my rescue group are treating me with joint supplements and making sure I get plenty of exercise so that I can become stronger and feel better.

I hope this doesn’t stop you from wanting to take me home- I’ve definitely got the personality and charm to make up for it! Contact my rescue people today and ask them about meeting me- I promise you won’t regret it and you may just fall in love.

Pearl is a solid Pocket Pittie who has been patiently searching for her forever home. She is approx. 4 years old and weighs about 37 pounds.

Pearl is house and crate trained and even likes to relax in her crate; it is her little home and makes her feel secure. This little girl is healthy, spayed and current on all her vaccines.

This beautiful black Bully was taken from an area where she and dozens of other dogs were left chained outside. Pearl was obviously not socialized, so she requires more time than your average dog to trust people after meeting them. She needs a home with someone who has a lot of patience and experience with dogs, preferably Bullies. Pearl does love to play with other dogs- she is much more comfortable in their company and needs to go to a home with other canines. One of her favorite things to do is to run around in the backyard with her canine friends! However, Pearl does not appreciate the company of cats, so she will need to go to a feline free home. Small children tend to make her a bit nervous, so she would do best in a home without little ones.

Even though she can sometimes be a nervous Bully, Pearl is making great improvements and just needs an adoptive person(s) who is willing to continue to work with her and help her gain the confidence that she needs to have a happy life. Once this precious Pittie befriends you, she will literally give you hugs when she sees you…she can be quite the lovebug! Please give Pearl a chance at the stable and loving home that she deserves. Although she will require some extra time and effort, the bond that she will form with you will be worth it…not to mention those sweet Bully kisses she will give in return!
