Miss Megs is a 16 week old bundle of bully energy, fun and cuddles.

She is 95% housetrained & crate trained and is a smart, fast learner. She loves to play with other dogs and older children, but her energy level is a bit much for children under 6. She has not had cat experience, and does have a fairly high, inquisitive prey drive. She will do best with a bully-savvy owner or family, as she is considers herself royalty and needs firm structure. Miss Megs is a joy to be around, and will give lots of love to an owner who will challenger her and dote on her. She is available through Carolina Care Bullies (http://tinyurl.com/megsccb) and grants audiences Tuesday – Thursday from 10 – 6 at EcoPaws in Raleigh (www.stitchandcompany.com).

I am a unique boy and my mommy says I’m wonderful! I am a 1 1/2 – 2 year old Australian Cattle dog mix.

Mommy says I am just perfect and so well mannered in the house and know I’m supposed to be calm – but I love to play outside – I have learned to fetch my toys and see that sharing my toys with people can be fun. I LOVE to be with my people and sleep on my dog bed every night on the floor by my Mommy’s side of the bed. Mommy calls me her shadow, whatever that is? I had what they called heartworms but with lots of love and care I am now much better and a brand new man. I am an athletic boy that spent the first 8 months of my life on a chain (and boy that’s no fun at all) but Mommy says better things are in store for me now! I need to be in a one dog only family seeing as I went so long without attention and I don’t really like to share it. I live with two little boys right now and Mommy says I couldn’t be any better with them – I love it when they give me hugs! Would you like to bring me into your family and give me all the things I should have been given from the start – and I will give you endless amounts of unconditional love!
*Pooger is neutered and current on vaccines – he is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Pooger needs to go to a family with a fenced in yard, lots of time to spend loving him, and no chains or runs allowed! Please submit an application if you are interested in meeting this wonderful boy or contact Christi @ cwdaize@hotmail.com. Thank you!*

No one did. So – I found myself at the Person County Shelter. That is NOT a nice place. The local rescue folks had already saved as many dogs as they could that week – and had no room for me – but the shelter staff loved me and tried to find a place for me to go. And so – that’s how I ended up with Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center. They took me in, brought me to a great vet, treated me for heartworms, helped me get healthy and my great foster mom has helped me learn how to be a great inside dog.

I need an experienced dog owner and someone who will treat me as kindly as I treat everyone. Please inquire at Lake Wheeler Veterinary Hospital.

Kiki is guaranteed to melt your heart the instant you meet her! This solid Bully is about 4 years old, stunningly beautiful and so very sweet.
She is spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccines and heartworm negative. Kiki is also house and crate trained and she loves to snuggle on the couch with you and watch TV! She is also very food motivated and has learned sit and is working on her other basic commands. Kiki listens so well and can be easily taught with lots of positive reinforcement. Baths and cars rides are among the things that Kiki enjoys and she will even try to sit in your lap if you happen to ride in the backseat with her!

This pretty Pittie was pulled from the local shelter after being brought in as a stray. It appears that Kiki was used for breeding and then discarded. She spent about a month in the shelter before making it out to start her new life…and wow, has she made an impression! Kiki is amazing with other dogs and is very laid back. She does have some silly rambunctious Pittie moments, but for the most part she is content to hang out with you and nibble on a chew. Kiki has not been tested around cats, so right now we can’t recommend that she go to home with cats. As far as children, Kiki could be a nanny! She is absolutely incredible with them and so gentle. Our lovely Kiki has no problem sharing her kisses with everyone, babies included!

Kiki would make a great couch buddy and/or an excellent therapy dog. This Pittie is a diamond in the rough and deserves to finally have a home and be loved forever. Please contact us today for an application and set up a visit to meet this girl. Once you look at that face, you will fall in love!

Why, hello there! My name is Frances and I’m the loveliest lady you’ll ever meet. Don’t let my size fool you, I’m as sweet and gentle as can be. It takes me a little while to warm up to people and sometimes I can get a little nervous around new dog friends, so obedience classes would be a great way to help me boost my confidence. I already know how to “sit” and “shake”! I’m looking forward to having a home to call my own where I can be as silly and goofy as I want and then we can relax on the couch and maybe watch a movie together. I just can’t wait to go on long walks with you each morning and playing fetch in the fenced backyard in the afternoons. Come meet me today! I’m full grown at 50lbs. **my adoption fee is $115.00**

For more information on Frances, please contact the SPCA of Wake County in Raleigh at 919-772-2326 or at www.spcawake.org.

I’m looking for my new home since the people at my last home weren’t able to care for me the way I deserve. I believe in fate, so I know my perfect person will come along. Daily walks and time spent with you are priorities for me. I really enjoy stuffed toys, so I hope you’ll have a lot for me to play with; buster cubes and peanut butter filled kongs would also be great ways to keep me entertained. I’m an intelligent, composed lady and will enjoy training with you so I can learn all the neat tricks I’ve heard mentioned here. I can be a little weary of other dogs, so it may be best for me to be the only dog in the home. As long as we have each other, we’ll be a-ok! **My adoption fee is $115.00.**
